about

This album was recorded in 2005 in Kastanien Keller, Kreutziger Strasse practice room and at Kugelphon Studio in Berlin, Germany. The band released eight tracks as a self-mixed CD in the same year named 'Berlinaires'. I made another mix and master in 2011 because I got new gear and needed to try it out. Well, I still had the files so this is the result. 22 tracks altogether. One could probably drop 5 songs and it would be a solid latino punk and ska punk album; however, here are all the songs that were recorded during this recording session in summer 2005.
Pablo and Fede are originally from Argentina and Chris has been a long time resident of Berlin, which explains the album's title.
Ever since I recorded these lads I have been listening to these gems and thought it would be a waste not making it available to a wider audience. They definitely have a unique sound, often latino punk and some songs shine with that ska punk mix which gives the whole thing a nice distinguished groove.
The band split up in 2006 or 2007 and Chris played drums for a while for The Bottrops. Not sure what Pablo and Fede and also Chris are up to these days...
My favorite track is probably Del Sol but I chose Cortame la Piel as featured song as it is probably more representative of Los Impresentables' overall sound.
Anyway, they certainly left some bloody catchy songs behind them.

about

Anti Machine Records Perth, Australia

Anti Machine Records is a punk and hardcore label from Perth, WA. AMR releases predominantly online and many of the downloads are for free with a donation option. Most bands are either from Berlin / Germany or Perth and I either recorded and/or mixed these releases here on bandcamp or/and I played myself in these bands. So it's all more or less family.

Cheers, Grobi
