Kann mensch zweierlei interpretieren. Kann um persoenliche Beziehung gehen oder um Beziehung zum Staat und zur Gesellschaft. Geschrieben wurde es fuer letzteres.

One may translate the song to 'whip and candy' or Roman Bread and Games. It is about this relation relationship between state/society and the individual where one gets fed shit as distraction and in return allows the system to treat one self as shit or enables the feeble minded to go to war for some fucked up reason etc. It can be read as a personal relationship piece, too.
